Are you the logistics sales animal who has experience in container transport!?! Then we are looking for you. This is because UTURN will launch on June 15th in the UK and further expand its European network. You will be responsible for our UK business development and being the face of UTURN in the UK.

UTURN was established in 2017 to redefine container transport through innovative technology and data insights. Our mission is to provide easier access to container capacity and a flexible network of carriers worldwide. By leveraging our logistics expertise, we've created a tool that enables shippers and carriers to manage container transport more efficiently and at lower costs. Serving over 1,000 clients daily in Western Europe, we strive to be a trusted partner for all container transport needs through our platform. . As a Sales Manager, you will act as a face of UTURN in the UK. You are not only our business card, but also the one who can open doors. Clients love you because you not only listen, but also have an instinctive sense of what they need at any moment. Making new connections, winning deals and helping clients successfully on their journey are right up your street. Not only do you have your own network of shippers and carriers in the UK but you also speak their language fluently.

Job requirements

Your work responsibilities at UTURN

  • Connecting and onboarding all UK shippers and carriers
  • Working with our Customer Success team to deliver customer growth
  • Analysing data on your customers daily
  • Making customers fully conversant and comfortable with using UTURN
  • Scaling your customers’ business in Europe with the help of our European Sales team
  • Scheduling appointments and giving demos
  • Translating your customers' requirements into concrete solutions
  • Visiting events and trade shows across Europe


What we expect from you

  • At least 3 years of working experience in a sales role within (container) transport or supply chain
  • Fluent in English
  • Solution-oriented and professional in communication and way of working
  • Having flexible and critical attitude towards your own work
  • Independent and proactive in picking up and solving cases
  • Living in the United Kingdom

In fact, UTURN's strength also lies in bringing together supply and demand by digitising, automating and making existing ways of working more transparent. UTURN operates in 13 countries, has 2,500 connected carriers and over 750 international customers including Flexport, UPS, and MSC. But we are far from finished, our ambitions and drive are much bigger. In the coming years we want to grow into Europe's largest platform in the industry and take our first steps across the big pond.
